Short biography (because film festivals sometimes need one)
Paul Cronin, born London, 1972. His films include "Look out Haskell, it's real!" The Making of Medium Cool (2001) , Film as a Subversive Art: Amos Vogel and Cinema 16 (2003) and In the Beginning was the Image: Conversations with Peter Whitehead (2006). He is the editor of several volumes, including an interview book with Werner Herzog and On Film-making: An introduction to the craft of the director, the collected writings of British director Alexander Mackendrick. Mackendrick on Film, his eight-hour illustrated lecture, has been seen at film schools worldwide. Currently he is working on books about production sound recording and Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami.
