‘Medium Cool’ takes a long look at Chicago

A television news cameraman films the story of an accident on the Eisenhower expressway before calling an ambulance. A national guard unit in Camp Ripley, Minn. stages a civil disorder complete with a mayor who pleads with the crowd, “We’ve let you use out swimming pools whenever you’ve wanted.” A roller derby crowd roars at necks twisted and kidneys bludgeoned.
