Lunatics' Tango
By Roy Smiles
Fringe Theatre. The cutting edge of art. A hotbed of undiscovered talent. Refuge for the last true voices in drama. And the only place where people will work for nothing. What compromises have to be made in the pursuit of dreams? And at what cost?
It is the opening of Lunatics' Tango, the thirteenth play by megalomaniac writer/director Alex King. On this long, dark Press Night of the soul, there will be no hiding places, no quarter given, no insult spared and nothing left unsaid. It's time for the truth.
And that's what real theatre is all about.
