Previous Work In Education
In January 2003 The Sticking Place organised US Revisited, a discussion based around director Peter Brook’s 1966 Royal Shakespeare Company production US and his film Tell Me Lies. More details here.
In 2005 we held a week-long series of classes with Scott Williams of the Impulse Theatre Company based on the teachings of Sanford Meisner.
Throughout 2005-2007 The Sticking Place presented a series of classes with writer-director Ken Campbell exploring such topics as ‘eccentric performing’ and ‘bardic extemporisation.’
In 2007, The Sticking Place took up a 2-year residency at The Actors Centre, running regular classes and workshops in improvisation.
Also in 2007, Adam Meggido was appointed Head Of Foundation at The London Academy Of Music And Dramatic Art and an Associate Director of The National Youth Theatre Of Great Britain.
